CupCakes



Ingredients for 12 cup cakes
1. Butter (1/2 kilo)
2. Sugar (1/4 kilo)
3. 4 Whole Eggs
4. Vanilla Flavor (1tsp)
5. Baking Power (2tsp)
6. Grated Coconut (1/2 a cup)
7. Preservatives (A dash of Schnapps or Dry Gin) (2tsp)
8. Flour (1/2 kilo)
9. Icing Sugar (500g)
10. Food Colouring

Procedure
1. Mix or whisk butter and Sugar until it is soft and fluffy
2. Add eggs and mix
3. Add baking powder and flavour
4. Add Preservative.
5. Mix in flour and grated coconut
6. Spoon into Mini paper cups and bake for fifteen minutes.
7. And serve with a smoothie or a drink.

Friday Food Menu with Exercise for Weight Loss (NFC weight loss programm)

As always, we will start this programme with the basics:
  • Do not starve yourself.




  • Drink water 30 minutes before any meal.
  • When eating, eat slowly, this way, you eat less because your brain quickly picks up the signal of you being full.
  • Stay away from soda and other processed drinks, if you have a craving for one, take a glass of water
  • Green Curry Sauce with rice


    Asmau has indeed outdone many with this recipe. Another of our great subscriber with great recipes, Asmau is indeed and innovative, unique and creative cook.
    we love the artistic presentation of this meal, it feels like it is almost for the pictures, but we are sure it tastes fantastic, so it will be really sad to let such a tasty meal go to waste.

    Chicken tandoori with rice and veggies

    This is a kind of meal that will make your mouth water profusely, apart from it being solely unique and different from what we make at home, the arrangement is what we will love to call 'superb'. Their are many chicken recipes, so many things you can do with that piece of food and the list of chicken recipes is almost endless, well with nfcupdate, their seem to be endless recipes one can come up with for any key ingredients, this of course is as a result of our faithful and generous subscribers who are willing to share their special recipes with us.

    We also love what Bilkisu is having with her chicken tandoori, which is white rice and veggies, we are always glad when recipes inculcate the use of veggies, giving us an avenue to continually make use of vegetables which are very beneficial to us as humans.

    Bilkisu said she is taking us to India today, and we so glad to visit India just by this amazing recipe.
    Here is how Bilkisu made her chicken tandoori with rice and veggies:
    Ingredients: 

    1cup vinegar
    1cup plain yoghurt
    1tsp ginger powder
    3cloves garlic
    10 chicken parts
    oil
    1pkt tandoori spice mix

    Directions: 

    Dip chicken in vinegar for 30mins.

    Remove from vinegar,marinate with all the other ingredients except oil for 2hrs.








    Cook in a sauce pan on low heat till meat is tender and water evaporates completely.

    Grill, rubbing oil from time to time till sides are brown.


    Serve with basmati rice and remaining sauce from the chicken

    If you are really serious about loosing that extra weight, you will indeed need to sacrifice a lot of things you have gotten used to in your lifetime, like the food you eat and how you use your physical.
    We will always put this important reminders at the beginning of every weight loss programme, the reason for this is that they are one of the key aspects to loosing that extra pounds:

    • Do not starve yourself.
    • Drink water 30 minutes before any meal.
    • When eating, eat slowly, this way, you eat less because your brain quickly picks up the signal of you being full.
    • Stay away from soda and other processed drinks, if you have a craving for one, take a glass of water instead.
    • Snack on fruits with low Glycemic index instead of road sides snacks that are not beneficial for your weight loss.
    • Exercise, does not have to be the rigorous gym sort of exercise or jugging, start with walking maybe 30 minutes, use stairs instead of elevators, go to the park with your kids, just anything that will require you using your physical body.

    Breakfast: you can have the grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich for your breakfast today. This is a tasty and creative meal that you will love.


    Exercise for Morning and Night: Take a walk or jug for an hour, skip 100 times, 50 squats and 40 jumping jacks, you can go two rounds for this. Make sure you find every opportunity to use your physical body, like taking the stairs instead of the elevator, dancing, taking your kids out to the park etc.


    Lunch: Take the pepper soup okra served with wheat today, one great thing about this meal submitted by Damilola is that it does not make use of palm oil (which is one of the ingredients that can make one add weight). Use fish (do not use cat fish or titus) to make the soup, but if you must use meat, goat meat is better because it is low in fat compared to beef.


    Dinner: as always, your dinner should always be light, you can have the Chicken pepper soup with potato for dinner today, but make sure you remove the chickens skin because of the fat and you are good to go.

    Tuesday Food Menu with Exercise for Weight Loss (NFC weight loss programm)

    Loosing weight and staying fit is an everyday agenda, so keep at it.
    As always we will begin with important things you must take seriously:
    Do not starve yourself.

  • When eating, eat slowly, this way, you eat less because your brain quickly picks up the signal of you being full.
  • Stay away from soda and other processed drinks, if you have a craving for one, take a glass of water instead.
  • Snack on fruits with low Glycemic index instead of road side snacks that are not beneficial for your weight loss.

  • Breakfast:Have a Tuner Sandwich with green tea this morning. Our amazing subscriber Bilkisu showed us how to make this cool breakfast that is helpful for your dieting.


    Exercise for Morning and Night: Take a walk or jug for an hour, skip 100 times, 50 squats and 40 jumping jacks, you can go two rounds for this.     Lunch: Take vegetable couscous this afternoon, you can make it just as Chef Etim did, healthy and good for your weight. If you want, you can have it chicken( just remember to always remove the skin). Under no circumstance should you take this meal with soda or any processed drink, go for water or, if you can, make your own fruit juice.

    Dinner: you can have the vegetable soup for dinner today, remember to always keep your dinner light, recipe sent in by Bilisu. This is a very healthy meal that is very good for weight loss and also the health in general.

    Pretty Eyez is also that one subscriber that has faithfully sent in amazing recipes to us and we are duly grateful for this.
    This chicken wings in sweet-sour veggie looks pretty great and we love this trend of adding green pepper at the top of your food.
    The chicken wings is that part of the chicken that some people seem to toss away, well we are sort of guilty of that, mainly because of how unattractive it seem, but seeing Pretty Eyez recipe and other chicken wings recipes, the days of tossing away our chicken wings is indeed over.
    Another great aspect of this recipe is the use of vegetables, as we always mention, we are always glad when we see recipes that make good use of different vegetables, mainly because of the health benefits it offers us.

    Pretty Eyez really did great with this vegetable sauce, some people find it a nit hard to eat vegetables raw, not to worry, Pretty Eyez has indeed solved that problem as you can now turn your raw vegetables into a sweet-sour veggie sauce that is indeed tasty, that it will keep you wanting for more.
    Chicken wings in sweet-sour veggie sauce, not to forget that green pepper toppings that we are starting to love. One word for this recipe 'complete'.
    Here is how Pretty Eyez made the chicken wings in sweet sour vegetable sauce.
    Ingredients 

    Carrots
    Red Pepper 
    Green peppers
    Strong tomatoes
    Boiled eggs
    Onions 
    Spring onions‎
    Vegetable oil, 
    Olive oil‎
    ‎Soy sauce‎
    Ginger
    Garlic
    Stock Cubes
    ‎Mayonnaise‎
    Chicken wings‎
    Bay leaf
    Salt‎
    Directions 
    Cut the Carrots, red and green peppers, strong tomatoes, egg white of boiled eggs, onions and spring onions, set each aside.


    Cook the chicken wings, limiting seasoning to bay leaf, ginger, garlic, curry,stock cube and salt. cook till tender. you will need the stock.

    Put a dash of olive oil in a pot and stir-fry Separately, the green pepper and spring onions,set aside.‎

    Under a low heat, add a dash tablespoonful of vegetable oil, olive oil in a pot, heat and stir-fry the onions, add the red pepper when onion is golden brown, continue to stir, add the tomatoes and allow to cook for about 40 seconds and add a teaspoonful mayonnaise( do not be tempted to add so many seasonings to avoid conflicts of taste, the different flavour of the oil used will help just fine), stir and add the carrots and the stock from the wings and cook for 5 minutes. 

    Add the wings and egg white and a half a teaspoon of soy sauce, taste the sauce before adding salt and stock cube.

    Cook for 5minutes before adding the green pepper and 2/3 of the spring onions, the other portion will be used for dressing. stir and cover for a minute. 

    Serve with rice or brown bread.

    Note: the sweet-sour taste is to be produced by the tender carrots and the fresh tomatoes.
    But I learned to take it further by adding few little cubes of pineapple to the tomatoes and dicing my rice with vinegar or lime.
