Kendall Jenner is slowly becoming a top-notch model, but it has not been indeed easy for the nineteen year old to juggle between the reality show (keeping up with the Kardashians) that show these beauty to the world and make herself a lone model. In an interview for The New York Times, Kendall talked about living two existences
"It's definitely two different worlds," Jenner told the NYT. "I feel like Hannah Montana. But it's fun."
Over the last year, Kendall is slowly becoming a lone name and not solely characterised by her family name. She has emerged as a budding model who has seemingly been embraced by the fashion world.
Recently named the new face of Estée Lauder, Kendall has a unique appeal to fashion and beauty-related companies, namely her wildly popular status on social media which gives her direct contact with potential customers who watch her every move.
"I think what's so exciting about her is that she has this social media influence along with a fashion credibility in a distinct way that speaks to millennials," said Jane Hertzmark Hudism, the global brand president of Estée Lauder. "There is really no one else like her out there."
"I feel like I'm more honored to be a part of something with such amazing names involved," Kendall said in a promotion video. "It's something that I didn't really expect to happen so quickly. It's so crazy."
Kendall revealed her new partnership with the company in a video posted to YouTube that shows her sampling an assortment of Estée Lauder make-up.
"I just want to be the best me I can be," Jenner told the NYT. "So having the power that social media does, I think just seeing how many people care about you and seeing how many people, like, want to watch what you're doing, it just makes you really want to do the best you can do."
