Moi Moi and Kunun geda

Moi Moi is just that another great recipe made using beans, it is a creative meal that is tasty, feels good in your mouth, and also very filling. Another great thing about moi moi is that it is a meal that can be easily eaten with other great meals like rice, salad, pap, custard and so many more.
Moi moi can be made in various ways with different ingredients and methods. Omata sent us this recipe on how she made her moimoi and also a great idea of what you can eat with it.

Ingredients:

Beans
Shombo
Pepper
Onions
Vegetable oil
Crayfish
Egg
Stock cubes
Salt to taste
(kunun)groundnut
White rice(the type use for tuwo)

Directions


  • Wash beans when soft add shombo, pepper, onions, crayfish and blend

  • Boil eggs, peel slice and set aside

  • Add vegetable oil, stock cubes salt and little water to the blended beans put in santana leather add egg and put on fire.

Kunun geda

  • Wash groundnut and soak

  • Wash rice too and soak(2hrs i.e before preparing the moi moi)

  • And blend, add water and sieve

  • Put on fire keep stirring until very thick

Serve with moi moi
