Yam Balls

The cool thing about yam is that it can be used for various recipes and this recipes looks nothing similar to the other, they also have their unique taste and texture. The various recipes in which the yam can be used for includes, the pounded yam, yam porridge, boiled yam, ojojo, fried yam and also yamarita. This mentioned recipes are
 common amongst the people of the Nigerian society, but the yam balls
is known to just a few of the population.
The yam balls is a cool meal to had to your food menu as it is tasty and the texture that it gives your mouth is just so amazing, Does that have tasted the yam balls always come back for more and the reason for this is not far fetched, it is a unique meal that tastes great.

Ingredients
Yam
Tomatoes
Pepper
Flour
Egg
Oil
sugar
salt to taste

Directions
  • Peel and boil yam, add a little sugar and salt while boiling

  • Make a little tomato sauce add pepper and onions and seasonings to taste

  • When yam is soft and done, mix with sauce till its soft like poundy

  • Take little amount and roll to desired sizes 

  • In a medium bowl beat egg, in another seperate bowl add in flour

  • Coat with flour and then with egg

  • Fry in little oil, Keep turning until golden brown.
