Spaghetti Bolognaise



Bolognaise sauce just like the name, originated from Bologna  Italy, known by the Italian as ragù alla bolognese, I definitely can't pronounce that, can you? lol


Here is a spaghetti Bolognaise Recipe for you to give a try for you, family and friends.

Ingredients


Vegetable oil
Beef Mince
Salt and pepper to taste
1Large onion( peeled and diced)
1teaspoon minced garlic
2tablespoons tomato paste
1cup carrot grated
400g fresh tomato diced
1 teaspoon thyme
2 bay leaves

Bolognese Sauce


Directions

In a large pan over medium heat,add oil and swirl to cover pan, saute onion and garlic until translucent.

Add the beef minced, season with salt and pepper and brown until meat juices have evaporated, stirring occasionally

Add the tomato paste, stirring to coat the meat and cook thorough for 10minute

Add the carrot, diced tomatoes, bay leaves, stock cubes (you can also add red wine if you will be using it, some love it, you can skip this part if you don't like it) thyme and cook on a simmer for about 20-25 minutes


To cook the spaghetti

  • Fill a large pot with water, add ,oil,salt and bring to a boil

  • Measure the pasta you need and slowly add to the boiling water, stir

  • Cook for 9-12 minutes or check the package directions

  • Now drain the pasta into a colander placed into your kitchen sink. Lift the colander and shake off excess water.

Serve meat sauce over pasta
