Kitchen Tip: How to Tell If An Egg is Good or Bad

A lot get upset when they break a spoilt egg especially when you mix it with good eggs so here is an easy egg test to let you know whether the egg you are about to use is good or bad egg.. Here is going to be showing you directions with picture illustration.

What you need:

 

A bowl

Cold water 

An egg/eggs

Directions

 

• Fill a bowl with cold water and place the egg

 

• A fresh egg will sink to the bottom, this means its good

 

• An egg a week old will lie on the bottom but bob slightly

 

• An egg that is 3weeks old will sink but stand on its point, it's good but needs to be used soon

 

• A bad egg floats to the top, this needs to be discarded
