Porridge Beans


Beans is probably in everyone's diet, it's a great meal not only because it is tasty, but because of the nutritional values it posses.
The Nigerian beans porridge is one of the most popular delicacy in Nigeria, because of it flexibility, It could be eaten with white rice, plantain, yam, custard, pap, koko or soaked garri. The Nigerian Beans porridge is one of the easiest meal to prepare in Nigeria, although there are different ways and method to cook the Nigerian beans porridge, which can turn out different depending on the method you use.
Here is one (prepared by chef Frank) of the many method used to prepare the meal.


Ingredients

Beans
Palm Oil
Tomato
Pepper
Crayfish
Plantain
Seasoning


Directions


  • Pick the beans to remove unwanted materials.
  • Wash the beans properly, at least thrice.
  • Blend your tomato and pepper.
  • Cook the beans until it's soft. 
  • Add four (4) cooking spoons of palm oil and let cook for about ten (10) mins .
  • Then pour the already blended tomato and pepper Into the boiling pot along with three (3) table spoons of crayfish..
  • Cook for ten (10) minute and introduce your seasoning (stock cube, spice, salt) along side the dried fish.
  • Cook for another five (5) mins then you add the plantain.
Your porridge beans is ready, serve hot.
