How to get rid of that Belly Fat

Belly fat (visceral fat) can be pretty embarrassing, most times, it makes us uncomfortable and limits our choice of clothing. Apart from making your figure unattractive , it also increases your risk of high blood pressure, diabetes and fatty liver disease.

However, it is possible to get rid of belly fat by choosing your diet wisely and also exercise daily.

Before mentioning food that can help burn belly fat, it is important to specify the food that boost belly fat, ones in which you must stay away from. These foods includes;
  1. Refined Grains
  2. Fatty Animal Foods
  3. Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil
  4. Sugary Drinks
Foods that makes it easier to lose belly fats are;


 Water
It is important to keep yourself hydrated to avoid stomach bloat. Drinking a good amount of water helps to flush excess fluid and toxins
The best way to avoid stomach bloat is by keeping yourself very well hydrated. Drinking ample amounts of water helps to flush excess fluid and toxins out of your system.



Oats
Having oats for your breakfast is one of the best ways to reduce a belly fat. This is because oats are low in calorie and they are filling and makes you feel full longer

    A study done at the University of Kentucky revealed that drinking two glasses of watermelon juice every day for eight weeks reduces body weight (especially the fat around the belly) without altering muscle mass.
                  
 
Beans
Consuming beans regularly helps to get rid of the body fat, develop body muscles and improves digestion. Beans makes you feel full for a longer duration, which in turn makes you eat less. Eat beans regularly, if you want your middle to be sexy and firm.



Green Leafy Vegetables
Vegetables like spinach, pumpkin, water leaf etc are extremely low in calories, full of fibre and offer several vital vitamins and minerals that help to ease water retention without causing the bloating and tummy discomfort.
*Note; for a better effect, do not overcook as this causes loss of nutrients.
Avocado

 Avocado is rich in fibre, which helps to keep hunger at bay and the presence of monounsaturated fatty acids helps to burn belly fat easily.
Cucumber
One full cucumber contains just 45 calories, making it sexy stomach food.

Just eating these foods will not get you a flat stomach. It is also important to do intensive full body workouts and perform cardiovascular routine.
