Chinese Fried Rice/Potato Mustard and Barbecue Chicken


Food is special, it brings people together, celebrates cultures and it's just that one thing no one can do without. However, food is all this and even more, at NFC, we believe food is also an art, the presentation of food can be so amazing you just wish to not eat it.
 Check out this amazing food recipe by Tobi Smith and it's cool presentation. Whose mouth is watery now, well I guess all of us.
 
Ingredients For the Fried Rice


1 quart of Rice,
1 chunk unsalted butter,
2 teaspoons salt,
green peas, diced carrots,
1/3 cup soy sauce,
3 tablespoons sesame oil
1 egg

For the Potato Salad (more salad recipes here)

4 potatoes
1 yellow bell pepper
1 red bell pepper
Mustard
Celery
Onions (optional)

Macaroni Salad
 
Macaroni
Mayonnaise 
Shredded Carrots
1 Green bell pepper.

For the chicken

Salt
Thyme
Curry
Coriander
Black pepper
Onions
BBQ seasoning
Paprika ( to color chicken)
Garlic
Ginger

Directions

For the fried rice


    • Cook the rice and allow to sit for an hour, this makes the rice grainy, that is, it doesn't break or stick together


    • Put some oil in a pan and fry your egg, add the rice when done add soy sauce and stir till rice is evenly coloured and add veggies and mix till they are cooked.


      For the Macaroni Salad



        • Cook macaroni

        • Shred carrots, dice green peppers in small bits,

        • Add mayo to the macaroni, add the peppers and carrots and put in fridge


          For the Potato salad



            • Cook the Potatoes, when done, dice them in bits, could be placed in the fridge to cool them down

            • Dice celery and red bell peppers in small bits

            • Add mustard (yellow) and mix


              For the chicken

              • Mix marinade peppers, coriander ,parsley, thyme, curry, bbq seasoning with the chicken and allow to sit for four hours then bake for 40 minutes in a 300 degrees heated oven
