Yamarita with Egg and Corned beef sauce

 
Yamarita simply means Parboiled yams coated in flour, then egg and deep fry.., hmm yummy.
You do not need to go to fast food to get yours, it's so simple and easy to make just in your own kitchen.. Here is how to make Yamarita sent by one of our subscriber Olubunmi 


INGREDIENTS:


4 slices of yam
corned beef
3 eggs,
Plain flour
Vegetable oil
Onions
Scotch bonnet
Bell peppers.

Directions:


  • Shape and rinse slices of yam, then place in a bowl.

  • Parboil the yam, drain and powder yam in a pan with the plain flour.

  • Whisk 2 eggs in a bowl and place the powdered yam in the egg one at a time, roll over till the egg is all over the yam.

  • Fry till golden brown in already heated oil.
For the Corned Beef Sauce
  • In another pan add some oil, and stir fry your diced bell peppers, onions and scotch bonnets for about 10 mins and add your corned beef.

  • Stir fry for another 3mins, then add your egg .

  • After 3 mins your sauce is ready.
